This regulation ensures that the practice will have processes in place which ensure that all information held about patients and staff is secure. For further information please see the practice Privacy Notice accessible on the right hand side of this page.

Home Visits

homevisitsHome visits are available by request for housebound and nursing home patients.

We have a lot of pressure on appointment availability and we can see 3 times as many patients in surgery than by visiting. Hence home visits are for those patients who can not come to the surgery for medical reasons. We reserve the right to decide who needs to be visited by the GP.

Requests for home visits should be made before 11am if possible.

The doctor may telephone beforehand for further information to decide if the visit is the most appropriate course of action.
