The GP Patient Survey assesses patients’ experience of healthcare services provided by GP surgeries, including experience of access to GP surgeries, making appointments, the quality of care received from GPs and practice nurses, satisfaction with opening hours and experience of out-of-hours NHS services.

General Data Protection Regulations

On Friday 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. This regulation ensures that the practice will have processes in place which ensure that all information held about patients and staff is secure. What to do when the surgery is closed.


 

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (111) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

 

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

 


A&E

The Accident and Emergency Department is not an extension of the GP'S Surgery. Please refer to the above for Minor Ailments.

In cases of Emergency eg. Chest Pains and/ or Shortness of Breath please attend the nearest local Accident and Emergency Department or call 999.
