General Data Protection Regulations

On Friday 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. This regulation ensures that the practice will have processes in place which ensure that all information held about patients and staff is secure. Alison Kaye

RGN Sister kaye joined the practice in 2004, and has been nursing for 26 years training at the LGI. She has special interests in Respiratory disease, diabetes and has diplomas in both subjects. She can perform cervical cytology, advises on travel health and immunisations and she is working alongside the Doctors in the warfarin clinic.

Julie Mathers
julieJulie has been nursing since 1982.  She has special intersts in respiratory disease, Diabetes and Coronary Heart Disease and has diplomas in these subjects.  Also performs cytology, immunisations and travel health.
Karen Morley

RGN joined the Practice in April 2021. Started nursing in 1978. Special interests in Infectious Diseases, Sexual Health and Warfarin has diplomas in Diabetes and CVD.

Also performs travel health and immunisations and cervical cytology.

Brooke Elliott (f)

We are delighted to welcome our new nurse team member Brooke Elliott . Brooke recently completed her Nurse Training and achieved a First Degree Honours Degree.  Prior to this  she had experience as a  Health Care Assistant and following completion of Nurse training, worked at Marie Curie Hospice as a nurse caring for those nearing End of Life .   Brooke always felt she wanted to be a practice nurse and she is already working  hard and studying  to reach her goal .

Sue TeasdaleSue Teasdale
Sue joined the practice in 2001, previously working in healthcare for 25 years and gaining an NVQ3. Since joining she has taken on more roles including: ECG's, smoking cessation, spirometry, phlebotomy, assisting the nursing team in the running of chronic disease clinics and the ongoing development of new services at the practice.
Karen Elliot
Karen joined the practice in 2008 after working at the Yorkshire clinic and rapidly fitted into the team and is developing new clinical skills all the time. She is able to do spirometry and phlebotomy and is now a trained smoking cessation advisor. We expect her skills to broaden with time.
