Tests & Results

Most blood test results come within a week of being taken, but some do take longer. Results such as x-rays and scans can take upto 3 weeks to come back to the surgery.

To get your results please telephone or call in at the surgery after 10am. The receptionist will inform you of the result as long as it has been checked by the doctor.

If you would prefer to receive your results via SMS ( short messaging service) to your mobile phone, please complete a consent form at reception desk or download from this page and return to the surgery.
Because of issues of confidentialty we cannot give out test results to anyone other than the patient. If the doctor feels they need to speak to you about the result they will indicate after seeing it whether you need a ‘phone review or to be seen in person. The receptionist can then book either of these for you when you phone for the result.
